Montauk 2003
The first of us left for Montauk on the 31st of May without even a job or accomodation. So of course it rained for the first few weeks, which meant that there were little jobs available (being a tourist resort). But after a few anxious weeks, little by little, we all found some kind of work. Whether it be digging a water mains system, painting houses, building a deck, anything we could get out hands on. For most of the lads though, they decided to take the easy option and work in the towns largest restaurant Gosman's (Where they spent most of their time and talked about little else). This was how we spent most of our time in the States.
We did however find some time to do a few other things like:
Getting caught putting sex dolls up a flagpole by the cops.
Getting questioned by detectives and the local cops for nicking the Ann Breyers sign(which turned out to be the Scottish lads).
For the last few days we squashed four in a room in the beatiful Madison Hotel which comes with complementary exploding TVs and bums that sit on the street corner and let you throw quarters at them from the Ninth floor.
